Stimulation Montage Achieves Balanced Focality and Intensity

Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a non-invasive neuromodulation technique to treat brain disorders by using constant, low stimulate targeted cortex regions. Compared the conventional tDCS that uses two large pad electrodes, multiple electrode has recently received more attention. It able achieve better performance in terms of intensity and focality. In this paper, we first establish computational model tDCS, then propose novel optimization algorithm regularization matrix λ explore balance between The simulation study designed such state-of-the-art algorithms proposed can be compared via quantitative evaluation. results show not only achieves desired intensity, but also smaller target error Robustness analysis indicates are stable within ranges scalp cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) conductivities, while skull conductivity most sensitive should carefully considered real clinical applications.
